My day job, the one that keeps a roof over my head and food on my table, has been getting busier and busier as of late, as it expands faster than it takes on new employees to cover the workload. As a result, getting work done on the comic has become more difficult. I don't expect this to cause me to fall behind on the comic, but it may make it more difficult to get further ahead on things. I'm hoping this won't last too long, as I've got a lot of big projects I want to start on before the end of the year.
On the bright side I've been directed to a website that looks fairly inexpensive for printing a small number of comic books. If the place turns out to be as good as it looks, I might eventually offer the webcomic in printed form to sell from the website and at conventions. Or even publish small numbers of other comic projects through that company. Speaking of publishing, there's continuing talk of future issues of Otazine coming down the pipe! Keep an eye on the Otazine website for more information on that, as well as purchasing copies of Issue Zero directly from the Otakon Online Store when they finally update the site in the near future! ~CJS |
