Special Wednesday Otakon Update!

Well, I'll be gone this weekend for Otakon, and I'm leaving tomorrow, so the webcomic gets updated today instead! I gotta say I'm really looking forward to Otakon. I always get hyped before a convention, but this con I'm even more excited about than usual. I suppose it has something to do with being practically a guest at Otakon due to my involvement with Otazine. I won't have to worry about registration or getting an art table for once! Of course, there will also be a ton of friends at the convention that I rarely get to see these days.
Another new illustration today. Well, not "new" exactly, it's actually an older picture that I decided to spruce up a bit. This picture of Getta was my first try at doing holograms in an image. Shortly after that image I figured out how to make those holograms look a lot better. I've been meaning to redo this image for quite a while, and Otakon was the perfect excuse. I definitely don't do enough with this character, but I plan to rectify that with a little project I have planned for after the first book of the Spud is completed. Just to whore myself a bit more, the content for the Otazine website is now up, go check it out! If you're at the con, remember to buy a copy and drop by my art table to let me know what you think. I believe I may have a couple copies to sell in Artist's Alley, but they'll primarily be on sale at the Dealer's Room. ~CJS |
