Alright, alright, so took a bit more time off from the comic due to the whole 'getting married' thing than I'd planned. This week isn't even a comic, just art. Not even particularly exciting art, but it is something for the holidays. Even better, while doing this I figured a couple things out with my Wacom and Photoshop, and now colouring won't take quite so long. It's still the longest part of the whole process, but hey, yo trim time where you can.More good news, I have like two or three comic pages drawn out, and just in need of colours. I'll try to get some of that done this weekend so I can see about having a page out next Saturday as well. However, the Holidays are upon us, and I won't lie. Time will be limited this month, fulfilling Christmas and New Year's obligations. For once I do not work either holiday, and I look forward to making the most of that. Finally, just thought I'd mention that I'd nabbed a Nintendo Wii when it launched on the 19th. Marvelous piece of gaming hardware. I won't spend too much time talking about it, but I will say all my fears of the controller being a cheap gimmick are gone. Unfortunately, I've also been spending a LOT more time gaming at home than I used to, and that has also been cutting into comic-time. Ah well. Hopefully have something for you all next week. ~CJS |
